The area
A beautiful apartment is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Rome, Monteverde vecchio. The area is calm and with little noise because its situated on a closed street with very little traffic. Our neighborhood is also very safe and it's ideal for families. Transport is easily reachable, there is bus number 75 that goes to the Coliseum and Foro Romano, then there is tram number 8 that goes to the most famous piazzas in Rome, Navona, Pantheon and Campo de Fiori. The ride takes roughly 10 minutes. In the area you also find two of the most beautiful parks in Rome, Villa Pamphili and Villa Sciarra together with the famous Gianicolo and the best view of Rome. Our apartment is practically in the Trastevere area. Situated in Monteverde (the green hill) the apartment stays fresh during the summer as there is a very pleasent breeze.
Apartment setup
Update - We bought new kitchen accesories. New stylish lamps for the bed room and the living room. Now the terrace has a tend one can take down and enjoy the shade during the day and have outside dinners. There is new wonderful supermarket 5 minutes from the apartment and a one of the best restaurants in Rome just few blocks away. We have a new toaster as well.
The apartment
The accommodation is fully furnished and it has approximately 80 square meters. Among its main features are its balcony and panoramic terrace where one can enjoy the wonderful view of Rome and the "Castelli Romani" hills. The accommodation is ideal for 4 people and has a queen size double bed in the main room and two individual beds in the second room. It has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, new refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave oven, and all you need to cook.

St.Peter's Church tour
Walk from the apartment to Villa Sciarra, proceed to Gianicolo and enjoy the view. After a refreshment at Gianicolo, continue walking to the Vatican and further to St. Peter' Church. After visiting the church you may also continue to Sant'Angelo Castle.
Le piazze tour
Take tram number 8, go down at Largo Argentina. Start with Pantheon continue to Piazza Navona is just beside. Campo de Fiori is very near as well. One could take a bus and proceed to Piazza Spagna (Spanish Steps), Fontana di Trevi, etc.
Coliseum, Foro Romano, Piazza Venezia
Just take bus 75 beside our street, stop at “Colosseo”. Foro Romano is just beside, the tour ends at Piazza Venezia.
Villa Panfili
Experience one of the most marvelous parks in Italy. I recommend to try first Villa Sciarra which is much smaller than Villa Panfili. It's a day long tour to walk the whole park.
