Grand apartment Venice

Grand apartment is very well situated, 100 meters from the "Riva degli Schiavoni", the world famous seafront promenade leading to SanMarco square, 10 to 15 minutes walk, it is set in a simple, yet distinguished neighborhood.

One can essentially take three directions from Grand apartment:
1. to S.Marco by the seaside walk (Riva degli Schiavoni)
2. to S.Marco by the interior streets, passing through very good food shops to the beautiful Campo Bandiera and then to "Ponte dei Greci" bridge. Alongside this main itinerary, real jewels like Palazzo Querini Stampalia or the Greek Icons Museum are easily reachable.
3. to the "Arsenale"(Old Shipyard) and to the Biennele Gardens, then to Via Garibaldi. If you go to Venice for the "Biennale" art exhibition, no accommodation can be better than Grand apartment. It takes just 5 minutes to go to the glorious Arsenale, and then 5 more to get to the first Biennale Area.

It may be extremely interesting to go past the entrance of the Biennale Gardens and  through the incredible Via Garibaldi: a small village of ages ago, lively and preserved within the noble and magnificent frame of  Venice.
Buy good fish and any kind of food from the stalls, and please don't miss the fantastic greengrocer's boat ( morning only).
Many small restaurants and wine retailers open their shop windows on Via Garibaldi.

The apartment

60 Square meters for 4 persons (+2). Situated in an XVI century building.
Ground floor: small entrance-living/bedroom (2 sofa beds)-
living (2 sofa-beds). 

Kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, double bedroom, heating, equipped kitchen with  fridge/freezer, oven and washing machine.

TRAIN

Station: S.Lucia

There are trolleys you can use to carry your luggage.
Boat tickets sold on the waterfront- left. You may choose between boat number 1 and boat number 41 to reach the Arsenale. Boat number 1 (Direction LIDO- 50 minutes- Through Canal Grande) boat number 41 ( 30 minutes - Through Canale della Giudecca) stop: ARSENALE ( second stop past S.Marco).

N:1 is the most traditional way to approach the old center and its treasures. It carries you along the Grand Canal...wonderful and slow (1 hour's time to reach the Arsenale stop: it is normally considered to be worth the time  you spend on it).
N.41 is faster (30 minutes)- its way to Arsenale is through the Giudecca Canal.

CAR

Not particularly advisable: you will never drive a car in Venice and it will cost you good money to park it. Anyway, there are two parking lots, at the end of the bridge connecting Venice to the mainland: Garage S.Marco in Piazzale Roma, and Tronchetto.

AIRPORT: Marco Polo

There is a hydrofoil shuttle- RED LINE- straight from the airport to the Arsenale.
It starts at the 10th and 40th minute, every hour. (approx.1 hour's time to the Arsenale). Please note: you should consider to reach the apartment 2 hours later then the time of your landing, considering the baggage claim. Reaching the apartment from the boat stop is an  easy and short way (5 minutes).

After the property is booked, direct contact with the owner / representative will be available. The rest of the tariff and the security deposit have to be paid on site, directly to the owner / representative.
