"We will be very happy to recommand the apartment we rented at Roman Accommodation and You. We would like others to have the pleasure of having a nice place to stay while in Rome. The apartment, which is located in Belvedere / Trastevere, is comfortable and well-appointed. We where 4 adult persons ( two couples ), who enjoyed the space and particularly the two seperate bedrooms.
It is a lovely neighbourhood, which is located high above Rome. When we got 'home' after a hot day of sightseeing in the city, it was wonderful to relax at the terrace and watch while the sun set og coloured the rooftops of Rome in yellow / orange / red light. Later the streetlights would be turned on and it was so beatiful ! It have to be seen to know what we are talking about! Also the easy access to transportation - bus and tram - should be mentioned.
The owners of the apartment was very nice and helpful with all of our questions. E.g. when we where about to leave for the airport early in the morning they maked sure that we got a taxi and to a fair price. It was our first time visiting Rome, but we will love to come back and if or when we do we would like to stay at the apartment again."

Lejligheden, der er beliggende i Belvedere/Trastevere, er hyggelig og velindrettet, og vi var 4 voksne mennesker, som nød, at der var god plads og to soveværelser, hvilket er svært at finde i de lejligheder, som vi ellers har set.
Det er et dejligt kvarter, som ligger højt over Rom, så når vi om aftenen efter en lidt varm dag i byen kom "hjem", var det helt vidunderligt at sidde en stund på terrassen og slappe af, mens solen gik ned og sendte sit helt specielle lys over husene nede i Rom - gule/orange/røde nuancer. Senere blev så lysene tændt i byen, og det var så smukt, at det nødvendigvis må ses, for at man kan forstå, hvad vi taler om. Også den lette adgang til de offentlige transportmidler - både bus og sporvogn - skal fremhæves. Ejerne af lejligheden var utroligt søde og hjælpsomme med alt, hvad vi kunne finde på at spørge om - bl. a. sørgede de for, at vi fik en taxa til lufthavnen tidligt om morgenen, og der var sørget for en fast pris. Det var første gang, at vi gæstede Rom, men vi kommer gerne igen, og så ved vi, at vi gerne vil bo hos familien Biagini igen. Vi står også gerne til rådighed for andre danskere, som evt. kunne tænke sig at høre nærmere om lejligheden.

"It was a truly a pleasure meeting you both, and your apartment is lovely. We only regret that we did not have more time in the heart of Rome, and time to relax at the apartment. In fact, because we were sightseeing until late, we were only there the last evening to enjoy the sunset. It was magnificent; the clouds cleared just enough for the rays to light up the city rooftops. We really enjoyed familiarizing ourselves with the delightful neighborhood, and we felt safe walking at night. There is a bakery, cappuccino bar, market, taxi station by the church, hospital, bus #75 to the Collosseo (just down the street to the left from the corner), a street market on Thursday, and restaurants. In fact we ate at the family-owned restorante, Caffe Portoricos twice. Our observation; Mama cooks as the grown kids wait tables, and all the while their Nonna (grandma) is sitting there taking everything in. Later in the evening, as the crowd begins to wind down, Mamma gives Nonna her medication with a glass of water. We recommend you go for dinner and to enjoy the ambience, vibrant friendly locals, nicely dressed women, families together, etc...and the food is good. (From the apartment we walked left to the corner, two blocks right, and two blocks left). During the day there is no evidence of its presence. It isn't until after 3 or so that they attached the clear plastic walls to an iron frame (which sits along the sidewalk in the street) and move tables from inside; there is also indoor seating. The bus is very convenient. Early in the morning it took us to the Collosseo but after boarding realized that we were supposed to buy the ticket prior to boarding. The ticket machines are at the stops. But we are fast learners and realized that taxis are fairly economical and much faster. Note: Until you get your bearings, we recommend that you carry the address/directions to the apartment with you until you become familiar with your surroundings. It was helpful to show the directions to the taxi driver, and we were off... like a bullet... to our apartment!
The apartment was very convenient and comfortable. We appreciated having the washing machine, and we walked to the 'bar' in the morning for pastries and cappuccino. The microwave was ideal for warming leftovers. There is adequate sleeping for four guests, however the one room with twin beds is 'dorm' style so we flipped a coin (twice) to see who got the big bed...we won both tosses! The bathroom is spacious and if you take brief showers there is enough hot water for four. Because there are lots of windows the rooms are well lit, and the cross breeze must be fantastic on hot days. Had the weather been more ideal, it would have been very romantic to sit outside on the terrace to sip our champagne.
Thank you both for accepting us to rent your apartment. We highly recommend it and you both also. We feel the price and terms were fair. Our recommendation is that you provide a binder/journal for tennents to document their Rome experiences, recommendations/opinions about sites to see, their favorite restorantes, etc.

"The Belvedere apartment was ideal for the needs of our family of 4, easy to reach Trastevere and the Centro by bus or tram (or foot, if need be; we walked into the heart of Trastevere in 10 minutes the night of a sciopero), but so much quieter and cooler up on the hill. We were especially struck by the apartment's fantastic cross-ventilation. Even when the July heat got stifling, the apartment stayed breezy and cool. The view is spectacular. I have the photo I took the first day showing the pyramid and the Colli Albani on my computer desktop. Our hosts were kind and helpful, full of advice about what the neighborhood had to offer. A plus for us: Monteverde Vecchio is a "real" neighborhood, devoid of tourists; the shops and bars cater to the people who live there. Staying there is an opportunity to live, if only for a week or two, the way the Romans do. Thank you again. We hope to come back sometime soon."

Vi var der sidst i aug./først i sept., hvilket var et godt tidspunkt, da vi så rigtig kunne udnytte den dejlige terasse, hvorfra der var en vidunderlig udsigt over Rom. Især om aftenen nød vi det lune vejr og den smukke udsigt. Vi ville gerne være blevet der de sidste 2 dage af vores ferie, men da huset var lejet ud til anden side, var vi nødt til at flytte. Ikke langt fra lejligheden var der dagligt et godt marked, hvor vi kunne købe alt, lige fra sko til brød, ost kød og vin i god kvalitet til rimelige priser. Vi flyttede i nærheden af banegården, men var blevet så glade for området TRASTEVERE, at vi tog tilbage dertil hver aften for at spise. Det er nemt og billigt at tage både bus og sporvogn fra området og rundt i byen. I øvrigt er der en smuk spadseretur fra lejligheden over Gianicolohøjen og til Peterskirken (ikke for gangbesværede) Vi vil anbefale jeres apartment til familie og venner, som ønsker at rejse til Rom. "I en pragtfuld lejlighed med udsigt fra terrassen ud over den sydlige del af Rom kan man nyde et ophold i den pulserende storby med afslapning i de stille, rolige og grønne omgivelser på Monteverde. Gennem udlejningsfirmaet Roman Accommodations havde familien lejet denne dejlige og store lejlighed beliggende i Monte Verde kvarteret på Via Francesco Dall'Ongaro (se beliggenhed) og vi kan så absolut anbefale et ophold i denne hyggelige bydel. Kun 2 minutter fra lejligheden kører hvert 10. minut bus nr.75 ned (for lejligheden ligger - som man kan se af fotoet - højt oppe på bakkesiden) til selve byen, forbi Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo), Colosseum og ad Via Cavour op til hovedbanegården Stazione Termini. Bussen har endestation på Piazza dell'Indipendenza, der ligger få minutter fra banegården efter Via Solferino, og efter en lang dags traven i den indre by er det en fordel at få sig en siddeplads i bussen herfra til turen "hjem", der tager omkring en time. Det er også muligt på et kvarter at gå ned til byen og nå den charmerende bydel Trastevere ved højens fod - eller på kort tid at spadsere over til Gianicolohøjen og nyde udsigten derfra. Men også selve Monte Verde kvarteret er værd at udforske. Få minutter fra lejligheden ligger en livlig bydel med gode forretninger og restauranter samt et hyggeligt gademarked. Vi kan anbefale det gode charcuteri og brød fra "Il Forno di Ambrosini" på den nærliggende Piazza Rosolino Pilo og de gode salater samt de grillstegte blæksprutter og andet godt i Ristorante Il Focolare i Via Gabriele Rossetti."

"If you are looking for accommodation in Rome you couldn't choose a better place than the Belvedere Apt. It is a very comfortable apt. With a lovely patio (set on a hill) over looking parts of the City. Sitting here after a tiring, but exciting, day in Rome seeing all the sites is wonderful - with a glass of wine in one hand and the view in front of you. It is also very peaceful. Belvedere couldn't be better placed either to see the sites. It is only about 20mins away by number 75 bus which leaves from just round the corner (no more than 100 m away) and takes you to the Coliseum/ Palatine/ Forum/ Santa Maria Maggiore / and Termini station to mention just 5 of the stops. It is so convenient. We spent 5 days here - even had breakfast out each day at a little bar (closed on Tuesdays) just up the next road - 7 days would have been better!! Many thanks to our hosts"

"Det var virkelig en glæde at møde jer begge og jeres lejlighed er dejlig. Vi fortryder kun at vi ikke havde mere tid i hjertet af Rom og tid til at slappe af i lejligheden. Da vi altid tog på sightseeing indtil sent ud på aftenen var vi der kun den sidste aften for at nyde solnedgangen. Det var fantastisk. Skyerne spredte sig lige nok til at strålerne kunne oplyse byens tagtoppe. Vi kunne virkelig godt lide at lære at kende det dejlige nabolag og vi følte os sikre når vi gik udenfor om aftenen. Der er et bageri, en cappuccinobar, et marked, en taxastation ved kirken, hospitalet, bus nr. 75 til colossseum (lige nede af gaden til venstre for hjørnet), et gademarked om torsdagen og restauranter. Vi spiste faktisk på den familieejede restaurant Caffee Portoricos to gange. Vi observerede: At Mama kokkerer mens de voksne børn serverer alt imens deres Nonna (bedstemor) sidder og kigger på det hele. Senere om aftenen når der er mindre besøgende, så giver Mama Nonna sin medicin med et glas vand. Vi anbefaler jer at tage derhen til aftensmaden og nyde atmosfæren, de levende og venlige lokale, velklædte damer, familier m. m. og maden er god (fra lejligheden gik vi venstre om hjørnet, to blokke til højre og to blokke til venstre). Om dagen er der ikke noget der gør det klart at restauranten, men efter kl. 15 tages de gennemsigtige plastikvægge ud (De har opstilling langs fortovet) og bordene tages ud. Man kan også sidde indenfor.
Bussen er meget god. Tidligt om morgenen kørte vi til Collosseo men efter at vi var gået ombord fandt vi ud af at man skal købe billetter inden påstigning. Billetautomaterne er ved busstoppestederne. Vi tager dog hurtigt ved lære og vi fandt ud af at taxaer er forholdsvis billige og meget hurtigere. Bemærk: Indtil du bliver mere kendt i området er det en god ide at have adresse og beskrivelsen af lejlighedens beliggenhed med ud. Det var meget behjælpeligt at kunne give taxachaufføren retningsindikationer og vi kom hurtigt afsted mod vores lejlighed. Lejligheden var meget rar og behagelig. Vi satte pris på at der var en vaskemaskine, og om morgenen gik vi på 'bar' for at få croissanter og cappuccino. Mikroovnen var ideel til at varme rester. Der er plads til fire gæster, men det ene rum har to enkeltsenge så vi var nødt til at slå plat og krone to gange om den store seng (vi vandt begge gange). Badværelset er rummelig og hvis du tager korte bade er der nok varmt vand til fire. Da der er mange vinduer fremstår lejligheden dejlig lys og loftsventilatoren må være fantastisk på varme dage. Hvis vejret havde været bedre havde det været meget romantisk at sidde udenfor på terrassen og nippe til champagne. Tak til jer begge for vi måtte bo i jeres lejlighed. Vi anbefaler den. Vi mener at priserne og betingelserne er gode. Vores anbefaling er at i laver en journal hvori lejere kan nedfælle deres Rom erfaringer, anbefalinger/meninger omkring steder at se deres yndlingsrestauranterv osv. Måske kunne i inkludere nogle af de bemærkninger vi efterlod."

"Belvedere lejligheden var ideel for vores families (4 personer) behov. Den var nem at komme til Tratevere og centrum med bus eller sporvogn(eller til fods hvis nødvendigt. Vi gik ind i hjertet af Trastevere på 10 minutter, da der var trafikstrække en aften). Men der var mere stille og mere behageligt oppe på bakken. Vi kunne specielt godt lide eljlighedens loftventilator. Selv da julivarmen blev slem var lejligheden tempereret. Udsigten er ekseptionel. Jeg har et foto, jeg tog den første dag der viser Piramide og Colli Albani, som baggrund på min computer.Vores værter var venlige og hjælpsomme og havde mange gode råd omkring hvad nabolaget havde at tilbyde. Et plus for os: Monteverde Vecchio er et "rigtigt" nabolag fri for turister. Butikkerne og barerne serverer til dem som bor der. At være der er en mulighed for at leve, omend kun en uge eller to, som romerne gør. Endnu engang tak. Vi håber at komme tilbage snart."

"Hvis du leder efter en lejlighed i Rom så kunne du ikke vælge et bedre sted end Belvedere. Det er en meget behagelig lejlighed. Med en vidunderlig terrasse (på Monteverde Vecchio) hovrfra man har udsyn over en stor del af byen. Det er vidunderligt at sidde her efter en trættende men spændende dag hvor man har set alle seværdighederne - Med et glas vin i den ene hånd og udsigten foran dig. Det er også meget fredfyldt. Belvedere kunne ikke blive placeret bedre hvis man vil opleve seværdighederne. Der er kun ca. 20 min med bussen fra lejligheden og til Colosseum/palatinerhøjen/Foro Romano/Santa Maria Maggiore og Termini-stationen og bussen går fra lige rundt om hjørnet (mindre end 100 meter væk). Det er så bekvemmeligt. Vi var her i 5 dage-Vi spiste morgenmad ude hver dag på en lille bar (den var lukket om tirsdagen) der lå på en vej lige ved siden af vores - Det havde været endnu bedre hvis vi havde været her i 7 dage!! Mange tak til vores værter."

1. The apartment itself is very nicely appointed, clean and exactly like the photographs you have published on your web site.
2. Every piece of equipment functioned well, and even though we didn´t actually cook a lot we had everything we needed for preparing salads, putting out spreads of wonderful cold cuts and cheeses and fruit.
3. The bed was very comfortable, including the fold out cot in the center room.
4. The TV was excellent and helped our Italian a lot.
5. Shopping in the neighborhood was excellent and a nice adventure.
6. We tried many of the local restaurants and they were excellent.
7. Bus service was excellent and walking to the center of old Florence was easy.
8. You mention the spacious shower in the San Frediano apartment and it is indeed large. The hot water functioned well.
9. The excellent near-by Internet place on the via Agostina, plus the near-by telephone shop made it unnecessary for us to have a mobile telephone. We were especially surprised how inexpensive it was to telephone.
10. Your friendly manner and excellent services made us feel secure and welcome. You have obviously thought out the apartment so well for foreign guests and we were grateful.
11. Oops, almost forget. The well-functioning filter coffee maker, really made excellent coffee.

The apartment San Frediano was perfect for our week-long stay in Florence.
The apartment was much larger than expected and very comfortably equipped
(we appreciated the American coffee machine!). The location was great --
Santo Spirito Church is around the corner and there is a lovely open-air

Die Appartments liegen tatsächlich wunderbar nah am Zentrum. Der Platz um Santo Spirito ist dazu wunderschön und man kann dort auch abends sitzen. Tagsüber ist dort Markt und man kann preiswert einkaufen.
Die Räume sind schön eingerichtet, sauber und groß. Wie in den meisten Häusern in Florenz, insbesondere in den unteren Etagen, kommt nicht viel Sonne herein. Aber dafür ist man schließlich nicht in Florenz, um die Sonne vom Appartment aus zu genießen.
Die Menschen vor der Bar, die im Erdgeschoß liegt, waren am Wochenende (wie schon einmal im Gästebuch angemerkt) tatsächlich sehr laut bis tief in die Nacht. Es handelt sich wohl um Italiener und wir haben es als Lokalcholorid hingenommen. (Auf der Piazza della Signoria ist noch viel mehr Lärm in der Nacht und dort sind es die Touristen und ihre Unterhaltung.)
Die Vermieter, insbesondere Cristina, die alles managt, sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und helfen einem in so gut wie allen Lebenslagen - auch wenn es für Cristina zwischen Familie, Beruf und Appartments gewiß eng wird, ist sie gut organisiert und sehr freundlich.
Wenn man mit dem Auto da ist, stellt man es am besten in eine öffentliche Garage, die ganz in Nähe liegt, aber ziemlich teuer ist. Wenn man in Florenz ist, wünscht man sich ohnehin, daß sich das Auto in Luft auflöst!
Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen!

We had a comfortable stay at San Frediano. The apartment has been thoughtfully and tastefully appointed, with everything we needed on hand. It is in a convenient site, with a daily market in the piazza nearby, which inspired us to buy fresh produce and try our hand at making our own Italian fare. There were also good restaurants nearby on the other nights when we felt lazy. It was much better than staying in hotel rooms, with a very spacious shower and main bedroom.

Thank you for writing. I totally enjoyed my stay in your apartment. Minor comments--I could not adjust the alarm clock settings or find a new sponge for the dishes. The room was cold at night, but I found blankets and made myself comfortable The crowd at the bar was a surprise...I lost a few hours sleep, but that would not stop me from staying there again.

Our stay in FLORENCE was fabulous and the big,comfortable,wonderful apartment added much to the experience...I was alittle apprehensive not really knowing what the apartment was really like(the net dose'nt really give you the true picture). It was awesome. It is located in the best part of FLORENCE, where the real people of FLORENCE live. Great places to eat within a few blocks, museums, shopping...damn i wish i was there! We also had our son and his friend with us and they did some traveling throughout EUROPE and thought the apartment was the best.(they are teenagers so i did'nt think they cared so much but they both loved the place)... Christina was so very helpful and down to earth, easy to deal with...We hope we have the good fortune of staying there in the future,we just simply loved it!

I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful apartment. It was wonderful to stay away from the "touristy" part of town, but still be within walking distance to the museums,etc. The apt. seemed bigger to me than the pictures I saw on the net. The local restaurants were wonderful and it was easy to use the bus system to get around the city.
Christina was so helpful with last minute museum tickets, cell phone rental and any other details that concerned me. She was so pleasant and willing to help.

A beautiful apartment - the photo on the website doesn't do it justice (at time of writing, it shows the very ordinary kitchen, whereas the rest is a beautifully renovated apartment). I can vouch for the comfort of the sofabed. Nice bathroom with a big shower and a nice big main bedroom; plenty of room to sit and eat at a proper dining room table. The distict was a perfect wandering distance from the heart of Florence. There is an excellent restaurant, recommended by Cristina, within 7-8 minutes' walk - Cristina can give details. Our only issue was noise from the very successful local bar. For heavy sleepers it's not a problem, but for light sleepers, earplugs and a grappa before bed are recommended. Everything was very efficient and well organised and I would definitely go back.

Very nice apartment. Good location. Crossing the Ponte Vecchio to get to the central museums always adds a special element to the walk. Apartment is near little shops of all kinds. I really loved my stay at Santo Spirito. The house is perfectly located, close to the city centre, but still in a local neighbourhood with few tourist. That gives a feel of real, florentine life. High standard, all amenities worked well, but still in a house from the 16th century with a nice feel of history about it. The apartment was much bigger then we expected even from the pictures. It was clean and spacious and has everything you might need (including pots, dishes, a refrigerator and a French press for coffee). It is a short and scenic walk from anywhere you would like to be in Florence and very close to the Palazo Pitti. It is a few minutes walk to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Christina is incredibly helpful with everything from directions and suggestions to replacing a light bulb. She is available whenever you need them. Cosimo was at our apartment to greet us when we arrived and he was helpful with our luggage and showing us around, Christina arrived a short while later and they could not have been more accommodating.
I have only wonderful things to say about our experience in this apartment and working with Christina. We will stay there the next time we are in Florence as well and have recommended it to all of our friends.

We found the spacious one-bedroom apartment, recently remodeled with a classic Tuscan design, to be very charming and comfortable The appliances and furnishings are all rather new and function very well. There was plenty of room for my wife, young daughter and myself. When I consider the great condition of the apartment, its ideal central location, and the reasonable price, I would say that we found ourselves a great deal. We have traveled throughout Italy quite a bit, staying in a number of hotels and apartment rentals - this, by far, was our best renting experience of all.

In comparison to other apartments we have rented in Paris and Rome, yours is by far the nicest: larger, cleaner, better furniture and wonderfull " atmosphere ". It is also well located.
